Arkansas State Jazz Festival 2014 in Dardanelle at Dardanelle Gazebo on Front Street

On Friday, 25 April 2014, the Dardanelle venue for the two-day 2014 Arkansas State Jazz Festival (free, open to the public) will feature jazz bands from the following colleges, high schools, and junior high/middle schools: Dover (3 pm), Heber Springs (4 pm), University of Arkansas at Little Rock - directed by Charles Law (5 pm), University of Arkansas at Fort Smith's Jazz Cats (6 pm), University of Central Arkansas's Dixieland Band (7 pm), Dardanelle HS (8 pm).

At the same time, other jazz bands will be performing at the Clinton Presidential Center in Little Rock. Both venues will feature additional bands (as well as a performance by the renowned jazz artist Tom "Bones" Malone) on Saturday, 26 April 2014....
