There is no admission fee to this annual musical tribute presented by Art Porter Music Education (a 501c3 nonprofit), but donations to support APME educational programs and scholarships are encouraged. Though other genres and groups will be included, the event will feature jazz by such accomplished Arkansas musicians as Dr. Danny J. Fletcher (Jazz R Us), Curtis "JJ" Adams (Sounds So Good), Rodney Block, and Tonya Leeks. Entrance for the event is through Gate 7 (on the west side of War Memorial Stadium). A cash bar will be available, and the Lettermen's Club will offer food at a nominal cost. FYI: Little Rock native Art Porter, Sr. (8 February 1934 - 22 July 1993) received the Arkansas Jazz Heritage Foundation's first Lifetime Achievement Award in 1993 and was one of seven inaugural inductees into the Arkansas Jazz Hall of Fame in 1994.
