Located in the historic Hillcrest neighborhood, The Afterthought (with its adjoining Vieux Carre restaurant) is the only Little Rock venue which has offered live jazz (at least once each week) continuously since the 1970s. Each Monday a multigenerational, diverse audience of aficionados (including members of the Arkansas Jazz Heritage Foundation/Arkansas Jazz Hall of Fame) gathers to enjoy music by featured performers.
