Jazz In The Park: Julia Buckingham Group at Riverfront Park - History Pavilion

Each Wednesday (6-8 pm) during April and September, the Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau presents a free, family-friendly jazz concert at the History Pavilion in Riverfront Park, located in the capital's popular downtown River Market district. Performing on 14 September 2016 is a jazz ensemble led by pianist Julia Buckingham and including Steve Hudelson (guitar), James Kinard (electric bass), and Yvette Preyer (drums). Lawn chairs and blankets (but NOT coolers) are permitted. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of beverages (wine, beer, soft drinks, water) benefits the scholarship fund for Art Porter Music Education (artporter.org), a 501c3 nonprofit. Groups performing at Jazz in the Park's 2016 spring concerts were Acoustix with Rod P (6 April), Bijoux Pighee & Band (13 April), Off the Cuff (20 April), and SynRG (27 April).
