Jazz in the Park: That Arkansas Weather at Riverfront Park - History Pavilion

Debuted during the summer of 2013, a slightly revamped "Jazz in the Park" (now being presented from 6 pm until 8 pm each Wednesday in April and September) has returned in 2014. Featured on 23 April 2014 will be That Arkansas Weather, a fluid group which usually includes Lucas Murray (guitar), Matt Schatz (sax), Al McGilvery (keys), Brad Birge (bass), and Daniel Olah (drums).

Sponsored by the Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau and the River Market District, with assistance from the Arkansas Sounds project within the Central Arkansas Library System's Butler Center for Arkansas Studies, these outdoor concerts are free and family-friendly. Limited seating is available in the natural-stone amphitheatre at Riverfront Park's History Pavilion (accessed from Ottenheimer Drive, north off President Clinton Avenue); in case of rain, concerts will be moved to the West Pavilion. Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome, but no coolers are allowed. Beer, wine, soft drinks, and water will be sold, with some proceeds benefitting Sculpture at the River Market.
