Jazz Spot Tuesday (POSTPONED): Miles Davis Tribute by the Guido Ritchie Project at The Lobby Bar/The Studio Theatre

Due to dangerously inclement winter weather, event organizers announced (at 10 a.m. on 16 February 2015) the POSTPONEMENT of the "Jazz Spot Tuesday" event scheduled for 17 February 2015. Tickets already purchased will be honored at the postponed event (new date to be determined, original description below) or any other upcoming "Jazz Spot Tuesday at The Studio Theatre" during the next two months.

This "Jazz Spot Tuesday" will begin at 5:30 p.m. with socializing/networking in The Lobby Bar during a happy hour which includes hors d'oeuvres and a wine-tasting (complimentary with full-event ticket). Doors to The Studio Theatre will open at 6:50 p.m. for the two-set concert to begin at 7 p.m. and pay tribute to jazz icon Miles Davis (1926-1991). Featured performers are Guido Ritchie (trumpet, flugelhorn), Brandon Dorris (sax), Steve Hudelson (guitar), Stuart Coles (upright bass), and Bryan Withers (drums). A reading by Chicago poet Todd Parker and brief intermission will precede the second jazz set. THV's Astrid Solorzano will serve as emcee. A percentage of the proceeds will be donated to the Arkansas AIDS Foundation (www.arkansasaidsfoundation.org).
