The AJHF inducted pianist Art Porter, Sr. and saxophonist Art Porter, Jr. into the Arkansas Jazz Hall of Fame in 1994 and 1998, respectively. Benita Porter Browning (Art Sr.'s daughter, Art Jr.'s sister, APME Executive Director) is AJHF Vice President and Eugene Porter, Jr. (Art Sr.'s older brother) is an AJHF Director.
