The Afterthought (in the historic Hillcrest neighborhood) is the only Little Rock venue which has presented live jazz continuously (at least once a week) since the 1970s. The Arkansas Jazz Heritage Foundation/Arkansas Jazz Hall of Fame holds its weekly meet-and-greet during Monday Jazz Night at the club, which attracts a diverse, multigenerational audience of jazz aficionados. The $5 cover charge is waived for those who dine in the adjoining restaurant.
