Stardust Big Band at Arlington Resort Hotel and Spa

For the past 15 years, the Stardust Big Band has entertained listeners and dancers of all ages (from throughout Arkansas and surrounding states) at its "Tea Dance" (3-6 pm one Sunday each month) in the Crystal Ballroom at the historic Arlington Hotel in downtown Hot Springs (Hot Springs National Park). Classified as "Jazz/Big Band" for the Arts on Tour roster of the Arkansas Arts Council (www.arkansasarts.org) within the Department of Arkansas Heritage, the 17-piece band specializes in arrangements reminiscent of the Swing Era (1930s-1940s) and standards popular with dancers of swing, rumba, cha cha, bossa nova, waltz, etc....

The event (which does not require formal attire) is public and open to all ages. Admission (waived for anyone under 19) is $8; there is a cash bar in the hotel lobby.
