"The Music of Louis Armstrong" is the first in a series of five free, educational jazz concerts presented in the Garland County Library's auditorium on the second Wednesday of the month (October 2013 - February 2014) by the Hot Springs Jazz Society (www.hsjazzsociety.org, 501.627.2425). Featured performers on 9 October 2013 are George "Doc" Ryan (cornet), Clyde Pound (keys), Byron Yancey (bass), and Jay Payette (drums). The program is supported in part by the Arkansas Arts Council (Department of Arkansas Heritage) and the National Endowment for the Arts.
