From 7:30 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. on the third Monday of most months, there is live jazz (open to the public) in The Lobby Bar (adjacent to The Studio Theatre) in downtown Little Rock. Featured performers are usually members of The Goat Band (aka Arkansas Repertory Theatre's house band): Barry McVinney (sax), Steve Hudelson (guitar), Brian Wolverton (upright bass), Pat Lindsey (drums). Other accomplished musicians often sit in. Though there is no admission fee, tips are gratefully accepted.
