Created in 2008, the UALR Jazz Ensemble is open to students, faculty, and community members seriously interested in performing traditional jazz. Under the direction of Dr. Michael P. Underwood (501.569.3301, [email protected]), they rehearse twice weekly (Monday and Wednesday afternoons) and present several free public concerts each year in Stella Boyle Smith Concert Hall (501.569.3294) in UALR's Fine Arts Building.
