With Articles of Incorporation issued by the State of Arkansas on 7 January 1992, the Arkansas Jazz Heritage Foundation (which sponsors and maintains the Arkansas Jazz Hall of Fame established in 1994) is an all-volunteer nonprofit dedicated to educating the general public about the historical significance of jazz in Arkansas. The AJHF's website (arjazz.org) serves primarily as a source for 1992-2014 information, especially in its Hall of Fame/Artists/Archive sections; each website page includes a top tab linking to the Foundation's Facebook page, where announcements related to Arkansas jazz artists/events/venues are posted several times each week by AJHF Secretary Alita Mantels ([email protected], 501.661.1604).
