From 6:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. on the third Friday of each month, there are free special events (occasionally including jazz) at The Fine Arts Center (hsfac.org) in downtown Hot Springs. A local map and info for the venue are provided via a link at the top of this Jazz Near You entry. At 6:30 p.m. on 18 September 2015, percussionist Jay Payette will conduct an informative session about jazz, after which his trio (with Chris Parker on keys and David Higginbotham on upright bass) will perform.
