Jazz in the Park: Rodney Block and TRML at Riverfront Park - History Pavilion

Debuted during the summer of 2013, a slightly revamped "Jazz in the Park" (now being presented from 6 pm until 8 pm each Wednesday in April and September) has returned in 2014. Performing on 3 September 2014 are trumpeter Rodney Block and The Real Music Lovers.

Sponsored by the Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau and the River Market District, with assistance from the Arkansas Sounds project within the Central Arkansas Library System's Butler Center for Arkansas Studies, these outdoor concerts are free and family-friendly. Limited seating is available in the natural-stone amphitheatre at Riverfront Park's History Pavilion (accessed from Ottenheimer Drive, north off President Clinton Avenue); in case of rain, concerts are moved to the covered, open-air West Pavilion (in the farmers' market area on the north side of Ottenheimer Market Hall at 400 President Clinton Avenue). Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome, but no coolers are allowed. Beer, wine, soft drinks, and water will be sold, with some proceeds benefitting Sculpture at the River Market.
