One of Europe’s top exponents of New Orleans rhythm and blues, piano player Dom Pipkin breathes new life into the classic funk sounds of The Meters, Dr John, Fats Domino and Professor Longhair with a stellar list of festival and radio and TV appearances including The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, the London Jazz Festival, and an extended residency at Ronnie Scott’s famous jazz club in London.
Pipkin has travelled the world as Musical Director to acts such as Paloma Faith, playing keyboards for Morcheeba, Paul Weller, Laura Mvula, Ray Davies and Pee Wee Ellis to name just a few, but has always kept a close connection to New Orleans, where he is a regular visitor and performer. 2014 saw him sharing a stage with fellow piano stars Allen Toussaint, Jon Cleary, and Ellis Marsalis at the prestigious “Piano Night” there....

The band features top American and UK horn players Mirco Altenbach and Trevor Walker, with Annie Lennox’s drummer Jimmy Norden and Tom Jones’ bass player Nick Pini.
