Considered to be one of the unique jazz voices of the second half of the 20th century, Blossom had a cult following and was a musicians' musician, but her fame spread wider through television and radio, and spanned the generations.

While the show is jazzy, funny and always entertaining, it’s also a repertoire close to Janet’s heart, as Blossom was her original inspiration as an artist.

Acknowledged as Australia’s first lady of jazz, with 18 critically acclaimed CDs to her name, apart from being a sublime singer, Janet’s also a pretty mean piano player.

Ms Seidel combines the influences of Peggy Lee, Doris Day, Julie London - and, of course, Ms Dearie - with her own enchanting style, allied to an exquisite, gentle and agile voice that honours each tune she sings.

With her intimate style and great feel for the lyrics of the songs she sings, Janet is one of those vocalists who is as much a storyteller as she is a singer. An evening not to be missed!
