A stunning collection of musicians fronted by band leader, pianist, arranger, composer and producer ELIANE CORREA, celebrating the joy, sound and soul of Classic Cuban Music.

ELIANE CORREA

Eliane Correa is a pianist, MD and composer between London and Havana. Trained classically at the Luxembourg Conservatoire, she went on to study piano and composition at the renowned Instituto Superior de Arte in Havana, Cuba, in 2005, then relocated to London in 2007 to study a BA and MA Ethnomusicology at SOAS (part of University College, London).

Her unique sound reflects her Latin heritage and experience in London's musical melting pot. In both her compositions and playing, a lot of attention is paid to the African roots of the music she identifies with. Still, her classical musical upbringing remains weaved into her to create an intricate, sophisticated and unique sound.
