Milestones at Herts Jazz Club

A welcome return to Herts Jazz for this incredible band after their sell-out gig in 2011.

Expect a scintillating performance in celebration of the music of Miles Davis, including a reprise of the landmark Kind of Blue album. The performance pays due respect to the original whilst allowing the musicians to express themselves. Other music includes new arrangements of Davis songs such as Boplicity, Milestones, Seven Steps to Heaven, Nardis & Prince of Darkness and a new suite composed by the leader Terry Seabrook on the theme of Miles Davis entitled ”Sketches of Miles”.

The band is led by Terry Seabrook, who studied jazz at the Eastman School in New York and started his career in 1985 touring Europe and the Middle East with US Jazz singer Joe Lee Wilson.
