Fumi Okiji/Noel Taylor/Andrea Caputo + flute trio at Luna Lounge

This month's Luna Fringe features an extremely unusual all-flute trio, and pairs the Japanese flautist 'Miya' with two of London's finest: Rowland Sutherland and Neil Metcalfe. The other act features Jazz songstress Fumi Okiji in 'improv mode' playing with Noel Taylor on clarinet and Andrea Caputo on classical guitar. The trio performed together before in one of Fumi#s first outings into free improvisation, and she has since explored this experimental side to her music with Pat Thomas and with Orphy Robinson at both Cafe Oto and The Vortex
