The five-piece Lowdown line-up is led by singer and guitarist Milton together with the celebrated saxophonist Nick Pentelow (Gary Moore, Andy Fairweather Low, Bill Wyman’s Rhythm Kings). Richie’s driving R&B sound mixes up Southern Soul and Chicago Blues with just a touch of New Orleans funk and a dash of Latin rhythms, all stirred and shaken to produce some of the best swinging, jumping Rhythm & Blues you have heard for a long time. Bobby Bland meets Joe Tex with a hint of Percy Mayfield all enhanced by the soulful vocals of Linda Hall.
