JOANNE TATHAM makes her debut at JAZZ UPSTAIRS AT VITELLO’S , following an engagement at the famed Cafe Carlyle in New York, when she brings her jazz-infused vocal storytelling tp “SOUNDTRACK NEW YORK: Music from Movies Made in Manhattan.” A carefully edited survey of songs from iconic movies filmed right on the city streets — from “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” to “Midnight Cowboy” from “West Side Story” to “Tootsie” — this brand-new show includes the work of The Gershwins, Burt Bacharach, Kander and Ebb, Marilyn and Alan Bergman, Henry Mancini with Rod McKuen, and so many more. Arrangements are contributed by Tamir Hendelman (Barbra Streisand), Brad Ellis (Glee) and Eli Brueggemann (Saturday Night Live). Ms. Tatham is a transplanted New Yorker currently based in Los Angeles, where she has regular bookings at Catalina’s Jazz Club. In NYC, she has appeared at The Duplex, The Triad and at Feinstein’s at Loews Regency, and has been a featured artist of the Mabel Mercer Cabaret Conventions....
