The Pan Afrikan Peoples Arkestra was founded by the illustrious
spiritual (J)azz entity known as Horace Tapscott aka PAPA. Since their birth in
the early 70’s the group, which can consist of 15 or more members, has been doing shows in and around their home of Los Angeles, spreading the (J)azz ideologies of Tapscott. This ensemble is truly a fantastic representation of Spiritual (J)azz from Los Angeles and their live performances are not to be missed! Several of the original members still perform along with some younger players who hold immaculate talent....
