Dave Stoler is a native of Madison WI, and has formerly resided in New York City, Milwaukee and Miami. One of the busiest keyboardists in the area, Dave works with his own jazz trio, the Tony Castaneda Latin Jazz Sextet, The Ben Ferris Octet and The Darren Sterud NOLA Tribute Band. He also co-leads Steely Dane, a 16 member Steely Dan tribute band. He performs regularly with his trio and quartet at Smalls Jazz Club in New York City. His recording, titled Urban Legends is available on cdbaby.com. Currently, he is preparing several upcoming recordings slated for release in 2018. He was a semifinalist in the Thelonious Monk Piano Competition, The American Jazz Piano Competition, and a finalist in the Jacksonville Jazz Piano Competition. John Greiner a native of Wausau where he teaches saxophone at the Wausau Conservatory of Music and leads his SwingShift Big Band as well as his jazz trio and quartet. He has performed across the United States in well-known big band and jazz bands such as the Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra, Newport Jazz Orchestra, and the Artie Shaw Orchestra.
Since leaving Millikin, Chris has been busy as a freelance bassist and educator in the Central Illinois area. He recently finished his Master's degree in Jazz at the University of Illinois in Champaign and is currently working on his Doctorate at the same University.
While studying at Illinois, Chris has become a staple of the Champaign-Urbana music scene. He also regularly performs throughout Illinois and the Midwest, including Chicago, St. Louis, Indianapolis, Milwaukee, Louisville and Cincinnati, as well as New York and Toronto.
