Ryan Meisel brings his high octane saxophone improvisational style to Cafe Coda as he features his original compositions drawing inspiration from the history of jazz from Swing to bebop, and blues to the Avant-garde!

Ryan reunites with jazz vocalist Susan Hofer, a Madison standout who has developed her style from the tradition of classic swing, traditional jazz, and modern nuances of free and creative music.

Together they will delve into tunes that were written while they worked together in the Ryan Meisel Quintet, and feature some of Susan's stylings on songs by Cole Porter, Billy Strayhorn, and Duke Ellington.
