The New Orleans Tribute - Two Shows (7pm & 9pm) at Cafe CODA

The New Orleans Tribute is comprised of some of Madison’s best jazz and brass band musicians. Since 2013 they have brought a blend of preservation hall and the streets of New Orleans, to clubs and bars all over the isthmus and southern wisconsin. Fronted by trombonists Darren Sterud and Nat McIntosh, the powerful trombone section of Mama Digdown’s Brass Band, they’re backed by the rhythm section of Jordan Cohen (also from Digdown), Chris Rottmayer and Ben Ferris. Often joined by trumpeter Jeff Maddern and Saxophonist Tony Barba, this groups versatility makes it possible to have sit down show or a power dance set....
