Caramelo De Cuba: El Piano Del Sabor at Cafe Berlin

Javier Gutiérrez Massó, also known as "Caramelo de Cuba", performs at Café Berlín once again for the release of his vinyl “Caramelo de Cuba: El Piano del Sabor”. This album, produced by Oh! Jazz is composed of songs performed live at the Café Berlín this past August 23rd, 2023.

His improvisations contain dissonances a la Thelonious Monk but with the Latin flavor of his native Cuba. In this presentation Caramelo was accompanied by an excellent rhythm section composed of José Montaña on congas and cajon, Alex Chávez on drums, and Jesús Bachiller on bass.
