That, in fact, hasn´t been missed – he´s been awarded the Norwegian Grammy for the musical masterpiece album „Liarbird“ and the country´s biggest prize The Konsberg DNB Musicians Award. Just a year later in 2013 went on to win the Best Movie Music category at the Amanda Awards, a Norwegian Oscars equivalent, for his musical score for “Chasing the Wind”.
