Du jazz, du funk, de l’électro, de la soul, du hip hop, tout cela est réuni et plus encore dans l’implacable moteur groove que fait tourner Hervé Salters, le Frenchy à l’origine de General Elektriks, créé il y a une petite vingtaine d’années à San Francisco. En septembre dernier, leur septième album donne de la voix au monde en invitant d’autres artistes, dont la merveilleuse chanteuse brésilienne Céu, à se joindre au groupe.  Le titre donne le ton, Party like a Human, Faites la fête comme des Humains. Mais il faudrait y ajouter la touche de folie de la jeunesse qui ose tout, et qui s’affranchit gaiement des limites et de frontières.
