Having performed Jazz in venues in Australia and abroad for more than two decades, Jackie has developed a particular talent for storytelling through song. Known for her richly toned vocals and ability to get to the heart of a tune, Jackie imparts a range of emotions through her use of varied vocal timbres. Performing her favourite tunes from yesteryear, Jackie's modern interpretations are influenced by her study of vocal greats including Nina Simone, Billie Holiday, Carmen McCrae, Kurt Elling ,Dianne Reeves and others. AARON MICHAEL:
Has always been in demand due to his outstanding gifts with his own quintet in Sydney and as a recording artist and in demand player for local and international bands. And in recent years he relocated to Melbourne and continues to freelance after hours, while also being an Officer & Musical Director for the Australian Air Force bands. It is always a pleasure have him with the band
