On Thursday, OCTOBER 16, 2025 at 7pm, JMQ Jazz Ensemble is delighted to showcase, GRETA WILLIAMS for our jazz-loving audience at the Golden Gate Hotel, S. Melbourne, and TONY HICKS shall also guest on woodwinds.
GRETA, who is a graduate of the Zelman Cowan School of Music + Performance at Monash University, won both Vocal and Composition Scholarships, in recognition of her talent as a singer, songwriter, composer and arranger.
A jazz artist, with a background in contemporary and classical voice, she has shared the stage with Jazz luminaries like Paul Grabowski, Jamie Oehlers, Kristin Bernardi, Nat Bartsch and others. She has led her own jazz quartet and quintet for regional and metropolitan gigs, performed at the Melbourne Fringe and in the Trinity College Choir and Invenio Singers, among others. TONY: Joining Greta onstage is veteran jazz saxophonist and soloist. Tony Hicks. With a local and international gig history, as well as leading his own jazz ensembles, Tony's talent knows no bounds. Having him as a guest on our JMQ bandstand is always a treat along with an All-Star Line Up: special guest Monique Dimattina Tom Lee, Tony Floyd + John Montesante.
