At our gig on Thursday, MARCH 23, we celebrate JMQ's Double Bassist, Marky MARK ELTON's Birthday at Phamish, St Kilda - which will feature Melbourne's Bop, Scat and Vocalese Queen, JULIE O HARA. With her wonderful talent, vibrant energy and wit, she is the ideal artist for this stellar celebratory Jazz evening.

Mark has toured throughout the US, Canada, Europe, Scandinavia, Japan, New Zealand, Fiji and India, performed at many international and local festivals, worked in theatre and live on radio & television and recorded with artists as diverse as C.W. Stoneking, Joe Camilleri, John Butler Trio, The Red Eyes, Nina Ferro, Julie O’Hara, Bob Barnard, James Morrison, Tom Baker, Dan Barrett, Rebecca Kilgore, Eddie Erickson, Randy Reinhardt, Scott Robinson, Abe Most, Leroy Jones, Jon Erik Kelso, The Blue Grassy Knoll, The Syncopators and John Montesante Quintet..
Performing with him in the band on his special evening are Michael Harding, Carlo Alberto Canevali, Mirko Guerrini & John Montesante.
