TAMSIN WEST shall be featured vocalist with JMQ Jazz Ensemble at The Water Rat Hotel on Thursday, Nov 29, with TIM WILSON on alto sax.
She has been singing and performing since the age of 4, appearing on television, in movies and music theatre including a national tour as Dorothy in the Victoria State Opera production of Wizard of Oz.
Tamsin spent 5 years in London singing with a number of bands including Allen Beechey’s Bright Stars of Jazz which she performed in with her now husband, Jason Downes.
Since returning to Melbourne, she continues to freelance with various bands including (until recently) Michael McQuaids Red Hot Rhythmakers. ...
