Performing Latin Jazz and Soul from downtown Miami since 2006, the Miami Big Sound Orchestra is comprised of Miami's veteran musicians who have performed and toured with Ray Ruiz, Gloria Estefan, Jon Secada, Chayanne, Tito Nieves, Cheo Feliciano, Luis Enrique, Richie Ray & Bobby Cruz, Issac Delgado, Chaka Khan, and the Funk Brothers to name a few. The band performs everything from Tito Puente-inspired Mambo to original Latin jazz by master composer/arranger Rafael Valencia, including Rumba, Guaguanco, Joropo, Son, Songo, Afro-Guiro, Boogaloo, and Samba.
