Longtime music professor Larry Lapin is retiring from teaching in May and is staging a farewell concert of epic proportions to feature students and alumni from the Vocal Jazz program, including the incredible JV1 Ensemble. Join us and show some love for Professor Lapin who has brought great music to our community and beyond for 40 years. Lapin’s footprint in the world of jazz education and the music profession is huge. His legacy reaches every corner of the world as his former students are now performing, teaching, arranging and composing at the highest levels. So, enjoy seeing Larry count off the swinging-est vocal jazz in the land as he presents a farewell concert in grand style!
