Achieving a new milestone in his career, Marlow Rosado has brought the 2013 GRAMMY award for Best Latin Tropical Album home to Miami from the 55th GRAMMY awards in Los Angeles, February 10. The award-winning CD, "RETRO", by his group, Marlow Rosado y la Riqueña, was released last May. The concept behind "RETRO" is one of taking some of the strongest songs from the 1970's, maintaining the essentials of the originals, but metamorphosing them in Marlow's 21st-century conception until they become entirely his own. Besides Tito Puente, Jr., other invited artists on the album, some of whom reprise parts of their originals, are Ismael Miranda, Bobby Cruz, Papo Lucca, Kevin Ceballo, Marlon Fernandez, Luigi Texidor, Quique Dominich, Salvador Cuevas, and Tony Vega. ...
