Miami Big Sound Orchestra, Latin Jazz Big Band at PAX Miami

The Miami Big Sound Orchestra performs at PAX Tuesday night, June 5th, starting at 8pm. Downtown Miami's resident professional Latin Jazz Orchestra since 2006, this 18-piece powerhouse group is comprised of veteran Miami musicians who have performed and toured with the likes of Jon Secada, Chayanne, Ray Ruiz, Issac Delgado, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Tito Nieves, Cheo Feliciano, Luis Enrique, Richie Ray and Bobby Cruz, Chaka Khan, and the Funk Brothers among many other artists.

The band performs Rumba, Guaguanco, Joropo, Son, Songo, Afro-Guiro, Boogaloo, Samba, contemporary jazz and Soul; including originals written specifically for the group by composers such as Grammy Award-winning producer Chino Nunez, Jaui Schneider (pianist/composer for Ray Barretto), and legendary Miami bassist/composer Rafael "Cali" Valencia....
