Jazz/ Persian Music Concert:

Jazz from its beginnings has been is a melting pot of musical cultures from around the world, musicians from all over the globe take elements of jazz and incorporate them in their traditional music to create ever more intricate and complex colors of sound.

Persian music can be traced to 800 BCE, Iranian classical music, just like jazz relies on both improvisation and composition, and is based on a series of modal scales and tunes which must be memorized.

In my desire to bring musicians of different cultures together I am proud to present this group of talented musicians and dancer, with which well be performing original and traditional compositions that celebrate the persian and also arab culture. ...
