Vocalist, guitarist, composer, arranger and band leader with a degree in classical guitar from the Instituto Superior de Artes (ISA) in Cuba, embraced Toronto as his new home in 1990, getting critical acclaim for his CD Cimarrón and his performances in major jazz festivals in Montreal, Toronto, Barbados, and at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Dizzy’s Club.
