Festival Miami closes its 2013 season in collaboration with Jazz Roots - A Larry Rosen Jazz Series and presents Pink Panther at 50. This spectacular concert staged at the beautiful Adrienne Arsht Center celebrates the 50th anniversary of the iconic film, The Pink Panther, and its composer—the musical genius Henry Mancini, who is renowned for his memorable film and television scores. This one-night-only tribute program features an all-star roster of special guest artists, backed by the University of Miami Frost School of Music’s extraordinary Henry Mancini Institute Orchestra. Guest soloists include international superstar Jon Secada; sultry vocalist and Grammy nominee Monica Mancini - daughter of the late Mancini; the powerhouse vocalist heralded by the Huffington Post as “this generation’s First Lady of Jazz” Nicole Henry; and the Miami debut of New York based French singer Cyrille Aimée, who recently took top prize in the first-ever Sarah Vaughan International Vocal Competition....
