The FAENA Jazz Series is proud to present Raul Midón, a blind multiple Grammy-nominated singer/guitarist/percussionist whom the New York Times has called "A one-man band who turns a guitar into an orchestra and his voice into a chorus." In addition to his own sell-out shows worldwide and 11 studio albums Midon has collaborated with Stevie Wonder, Herbie Hancock, Bill Withers, Queen Latifah, Snoop Dogg, India Irie and many others. An alumnus of UM's Frost School of Music in 2019 Raul was honored with the school's most prestigious honor, the Distinguished Alumni Award.
