Film screening -- "Lady Sings the Blues" (1972) starring Diana Ross as Billie Holiday, with Billy Dee Williams and Richard Pryor. UWM Repertoire Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Dave Bayles, and featuring vocal soloists Zamira Castillo-Santos, Karina Rodriguez, Nadia Dorsey and Fern Frey, will perform four Billie Holiday tunes at the event. Suggested donations $15 general public, $10 students.
