The South Milwaukee Performing Arts Center (SMPAC) was built in 2004 as part of the new South Milwaukee High School. As part of the School District of South Milwaukee (SDSM), the SMPAC serves as the home for school concerts, plays, musicals, awards ceremonies and meetings. The SDSM has had an extensive and strong arts program for most of its more than century-long history. Countless numbers of awards, trophies and honors have been bestowed upon the locally legendary directors of theatre and music that have graced the stages of the District. The City of South Milwaukee, accordingly, has long supported the creation of a fine arts center to house these programs.
Directions: From the North ~ Take I-43 south to I-94 and merge onto I-94E. Exit on College Avenue, the first exit after the airport. Turn left and head east on College Avenue for about 3 miles. Enter the city of South Milwaukee. Turn right onto 15th Avenue and travel for about .5 miles. Turn left onto Oak Creek Parkway. Turn right into the first driveway/parking lot and park. From the South ~ Take I-94W north to Rawson Avenue. Exit on Rawson Avenue and turn right. Head east on Rawson Avenue for about 3 miles. Enter the city of South Milwaukee. Turn left onto 15th Avenue and travel North for .5 miles. Turn right onto Oak Creek Parkway. Turn right into the first driveway/parking lot and park. From the West ~ Take I-894 or I-94E to I-94S and merge onto I-94E/41S. Exit on College Avenue, the first exit after the airport. Turn left and head east on College Avenue for about 3 miles. Enter the city of South Milwaukee. Turn right onto 15th Avenue and travel South for .5 miles. Turn left onto Oak Creek Parkway. Turn right into the first driveway/parking lot and park. From the Northwest ~ Take 45 South and exit onto I-894E. Merge onto I-94E/41S and then exit on College Avenue, the first exit after the airport. Turn left and head east on College Avenue for about 3 miles. Enter the city of South Milwaukee. Turn right onto 15th Avenue and travel South for about .5 miles. Turn left onto Oak Creek Parkway. Turn right into the first driveway/parking lot and park. From Downtown Milwaukee ~ Take 794 south to Pennsylvania Avenue. Turn right onto Pennsylvania Avenue and travel south for about 1.5 miles. Turn left onto College Avenue and travel .5 miles. Turn right onto 15th Avenue and travel about .5 miles. Turn left onto Oak Creek Parkway. Turn right into the first driveway/parking lot and park.
