Davina and The Vagabonds offer “a modern take on old-time blues and jazz” (PennLive). They’ve created a stir on the national music scene with their high-energy live shows, level A musicianship, sharp-dressed professionalism, and Davina’s commanding stage presence. Chubby Carrier and the Bayou Swamp Band’s sound is infectious – a concoction of blues, 70s funk, rock and roll, and good-ole zydeco flavor. Once the accordion-playing Grammy-winning virtuoso grabs the mic and takes to the stage with his bandmates, audiences are treated to high energy, swamp funky zydeco show drenched in Louisiana style. Presented in collaboration with the Twin Cities Jazz Festival & AARP.
