About

Dan and Alex will perform a synth / drums duet, exploring sonic textures and spontaneous improvisation in a jazz/atmospheric idiom. Alex is a highly sought after drummer, and has performed or recorded with artists ranging from This World Fair, Jeremy Messersmith, the Honey Dogs, Breanne Düren (of Owl City) to the Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra. Dan holds a Ph.D. in composition from the University of Minnesota, and is an instructor at McNally Smith College of Music. He has performed or recorded with artists ranging from GB Leighton, John Moulder to the South Dakota Symphony.
