We will discuss:
•Putting together your book of songs
•What to look for in your players
•Sitting in
•Rehearsing with players
•Set lists
•PAs and mic technique
•Being a singer on and off stage
•When to sing for free
And, we will leave plenty of time for your questions, including a designated question and answer period.
Who can attend? This workshop is for anyone thinking about singing and performing on a regular basis. New and student singers are welcome.

About Sarah M. Greer
Sarah M. Greer is a vocalist, instructor and improviser. Based in the Twin Cities, Sarah has performed on local and international stages. As a working singer, she takes the stage regularly with Jay Young’s nine-piece band The Lyric Factory, a cappella ensemble the Give Get Sistet and jazz quartet BLU-7.
Sarah has a degree in vocal performance and has studied vocal improvisation for over a decade and with singers from around the world. In addition to her vocal training, she has a variety of skills from blogging to peer counseling to marketing that she uses to help singers take the stage.

Sarah loves to sing and is passionate about helping others sing, too.
