This evening features reductions of Javier’s large group compositions, focusing on the bossa nova, cha-cha-cha, mambo, and samba.
Interspersed between these original pieces will be improvised sound collages. With a group created during these restrictive months, we will also be honoring the tones and outlooks of the great Palo Alto and San Francisco bands
