For those who long for "the grand old days" of radio, Jazz88 KBEM presents the second installment of Jazz Noir, an original radio drama series complete with live voice actors and musicians in front of a studio audience. Created by award-winning playwright Christina Ham and composer John Penny, this episode explores the rich North Minneapolis Jazz scene of the 1960s. Ed Jones, veteran actor and Jazz88’s morning show host, directs the production. There will be two performances--one at 4 p.m. and another at 7 p.m. The later performance will be broadcast on Jazz 88.5 FM.
