The Jazz Police Young Artists Showcase Moves to Jazz Central Studios!

The Jazz Police E-Zine (www.jazzpolice.com) moves their Young Artists Showcase from the Artists Quarter to Jazz Central Studios. Now on the First Friday of the month, about six times per year, JP presents a student ensemble. The February showcase features the South Side Jazz Combo, a quintet of Minneapolis South High students: Josh Johnson (tenor sax), Seamus Hawley (alto sax), Cole Nelson (piano), Charlie Lincoln (bass) and Angelo Kelvakis (drums). The band opened for the JazzMN Orchestra’s October concert. Expect high energy and a mix of standards, original arrangements and some original tunes from the musicians....
