He won a 2021 Grammy in the Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album category as co-producer of James Taylor’s American Standard. A radio personality who got his start in 1984, Pizzarelli co-hosts Radio Deluxe with John Pizzarelli alongside wife Jessica Molaskey. He has performed on popular national television shows such as The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Conan, and Great Performances. Also, the talk shows of Jay Leno, David Letterman, Regis Philbin and the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Pizzarelli has dedicated many of his albums to great songwriters and performers. These artists have helped to establish the Great American Songbook and the pop music canon. These include Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, Paul McCartney, Richard Rodgers, and Duke Ellington, to name a few.
